I’m an Educational Specialist in Instructional Technology, currently a PhD student in educational psychology (with a concentration in adult learning), and alumni of Emory University and the University of Tennessee.

I’m an avid reader and am currently into science fiction, biographies, and historical fiction. I also love the arts and appreciate all types of music (except for heavy metal and rap).I also consider myself a foodie and readily admit to bingeing TV shows on Netflix for long stretches of time.

Technology is my forte and I’m constantly tinkering around and creating things, and I love learning different ways of applying tools to facilitate learning.

I’m also a pop culture enthusiast and am a fan of several television shows including Empire, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Flash, Orange is The New Black, BBC's Sherlock, Orphan Black, Outlander, and Glee (just to name a few).

I use this Live Journal for personal reflections, an occasional rant, daily musings, and reviews. I have made this a Semi-Friends Only journal because some topics will be sensitive in nature, while other topics - such as ones related to pop culture probably won't be.
